Reach for the Stars Rewards

This year, our students did an excellent job with our Reach for the Starts reading program.  Over $3,500 was raised by the students.  Recently, the students and teachers received their books.  The picture below shows the cart of books both students and teachers received!  It's always great getting new books.


In addition, the school library earned approximately $700 from the reading program.  That money was used to purchase document cameras for many of our classrooms.  Thank you to all who participated!

Our Students Rock

In February, we held our annual Reach for the Stars Reading program. The program has ended and the total pledges have been calculated.  Students collected a grand total of

$3,590.98


What a great total! Students who collected pledges have earned $1,795.49 worth of books for themselves.  What a great way to add books to their home library.

Thanks to the collected pledges, $1,077.29 worth of books will be added to classroom libraries and $718.20 was earned in cash for the library.  That money will be used to purchase document cameras for several of the classrooms.
