Goals and Policies

• Foster a lifelong love of reading.
• Provide students with appropriate reading material that matches both their interest level and reading level.
• Maintain a balanced and current library collection to meet the needs of both staff and students.
• Support the curriculum by purchasing materials in a variety of format. (Print, digital, and audio.)
• Provide opportunities for students to use technology in appropriate ways to enhance learning.

• In general, students will check out 3 books per week.
• The loan period for library materials is one week.  However, students may be allowed to renew their materials if there are no hold requests on a specific item.
• Students who do not return their books will not be able to check out additional items until those items are returned or the replacement cost is paid.
• Students are expected to be respectful of all library materials and the library itself.
