Our annual Reach for the Stars Reading Program is under way.  This program is a great way for students to earn free books and increase their reading skills.  Sponsored by Usborne Books, the program is a pledge based reading program that works like a read-a-thon.  Students ask family members and friends to pledge money for the time students read.  Students fill out their green Sponsor Sheet and return it to school at the end of the two week program with the pledges they've collected.  The goal of the program is to have students read 300 minutes over a two week period.  100% of money raised during the program is returned to the students and the school.
